Crane & Lorry Crane Financing
Need lifting equipment for your next job? Discuss a mobile crane or lorry-mounted crane with the quotation, lifting requirements and business use in view.
Start with the vehicle details. Financing is subject to assessment and agreed terms.
Review the lifting asset, not just the purchase price
The right financing discussion starts with the unit you need and the work it will perform. Provide the crane type, specification and quotation so the team can clarify whether the asset and business case are suitable for assessment.
Vehicle types to discuss
Mobile and rough-terrain cranes
Share the model, year, lifting capacity, equipment condition and where it will operate.
Crawler, tower and installed cranes
Explain the site or factory use, equipment configuration, installation costs and quotation scope. Confirm the proposed asset is within financing scope.
Lorry-mounted cranes
Transport and lifting form one operating setup. The chassis, crane and installation details all matter, whether supplied together or separately.
Lorry with crane financing
Buying a lorry-mounted crane for deliveries and unloading? Separate the vehicle and lifting-equipment details so the review covers the complete unit.
- Lorry make/model, manufacture year, body configuration and registration status.
- Crane make/model, manufacture year, rated lifting capacity and available load chart.
- Itemized quotation showing the chassis, crane, installation and other included costs.
- Condition, ownership and available maintenance or inspection records for both the lorry and crane.
- Intended load, operating location and business or project context; a project contract is not an approval guarantee.
Is this enquiry a fit?
- You are enquiring about lifting equipment for business or project use.
- You can identify the specific crane or explain the unit and capacity you need.
- Used, imported or unregistered equipment requires confirmation of condition and documents before assuming financing is available.
What to prepare
- Supplier quotation and specification with model, year, capacity and relevant equipment identifiers.
- Available ownership, registration, import, maintenance and inspection records, as applicable to the unit.
- Business registration and owner/director details, which may be requested for assessment.
- Recent business bank statements and relevant project or operating records, if requested.
Start with non-sensitive vehicle details. Confirm the required documents and submission channel with the team before sharing identification or financial records. The final checklist depends on your application.
Your questions, answered
Can I enquire about a used crane?
Yes. Share its model, year, condition and quotation, together with available maintenance and ownership records. The actual asset and application must be reviewed; there is no blanket acceptance by brand or age.
Can the lorry and mounted crane be reviewed together?
Provide both sets of specifications and an itemized quotation. State whether they are being supplied as one unit or purchased separately so the team can confirm the proposed financing scope.
Does a confirmed project contract guarantee approval?
No. A contract may help explain the intended work, but it does not replace assessment of the asset, documents, business circumstances and repayment commitments.
What about imported or unregistered equipment?
Explain its location, ownership and import or registration stage, with the documents available. Confirm that the proposed unit and costs can be considered before making a purchase commitment.
What deposit, rate and approval time apply?
These are not fixed on this page. Ask the team to clarify the required review and provide the applicable costs, deposit and terms for your case. Do not plan project deployment around an unconfirmed approval date.
