Classic & JDM Car Financing

Found a classic or JDM car you want to buy? Discuss the vehicle, its condition and your financing needs before committing to the purchase.

Start with the vehicle details. Financing is subject to assessment and agreed terms.

Asset illustration, not a customer case or vehicle listing.

A financing discussion built around the actual car

A collector car is not defined by its age alone. The vehicle details, ownership documents, condition and your circumstances are needed to establish whether a financing route is suitable. Model examples below are starting points for enquiries, not a list of guaranteed approvals.

Vehicle types to discuss

Japanese classics and JDM

Skyline GT-R, Supra, NSX and RX-7: include the exact variant, modifications and registration or import stage.

European classics

For a Porsche 911, BMW classic or Mercedes-Benz collector car, describe its year, ownership history and current condition.

American collector cars

For a Mustang, Corvette or another classic, share the listing and available vehicle records rather than relying on a model name alone.

Looking for a JDM car loan?

Keep the enquiry specific to the vehicle you have found. A locally registered car, an unregistered import and a restoration project need different checks.

  • Model and variant, manufacture year, asking price and current location.
  • Whether the car is registered in Malaysia, being imported or still with an overseas seller.
  • Ownership history, modifications, accident or restoration information and available inspection records.
  • Confirm financing scope before paying a non-refundable deposit. An enquiry is not pre-approval.

Is this enquiry a fit?

  • You have identified a classic or collector vehicle and can provide a listing or quotation.
  • You want to discuss a purchase based on the actual car and your repayment circumstances.
  • Older vehicles, imports and restoration projects require case-by-case confirmation; acceptance is not automatic.

What to prepare

  • Vehicle listing or seller quotation with model, year and asking price.
  • Registration and ownership records; import documents where applicable.
  • Condition photographs and available service, inspection or restoration records.
  • Identity and income information, plus recent bank statements, may be requested after the initial discussion.

Start with non-sensitive vehicle details. Confirm the required documents and submission channel with the team before sharing identification or financial records. The final checklist depends on your application.

Your questions, answered

Can I enquire about an older classic car?

Yes. Share the model, year, condition and documents for review. There is no automatic acceptance based on age, model or collector status.

Can I discuss an imported JDM car before it arrives?

You can explain the import stage and provide the available listing and documents. The team must confirm whether the specific case can be considered; do not treat this conversation as pre-approval.

Can a restoration project be considered?

Describe the current condition, work required and whether you are financing the vehicle purchase or restoration costs. Confirm the scope with the team before assuming either is covered.

What amount, deposit and repayment period are available?

These depend on the vehicle, your circumstances and the financing arrangement offered after assessment. Ask for the applicable costs and terms before making a decision; this page does not quote an approved amount or rate.
