A comparable used genset may cost less to buy than a new one, but the lowest asking price is not the whole cost. Delivery, installation, servicing and fuel still need a budget. Compare quotations and the machine condition before deciding.

Before buying, check these four things.
Suitable power, not just a big kVA number
Ask the supplier or qualified technician to check your load, motor starting needs and whether the unit is for regular use or standby power. These ratings are not interchangeable.
Condition and service history
Ask for the model, serial number, running hours, available service records and an independent condition check. A finance review does not prove a machine is sound.
The full purchase cost
Get a written quotation. Clarify what is included for delivery, installation, testing, servicing and any seller warranty. Do not assume these costs are financed.
Repayments and operating cash
Compare the proposed repayment with current business cash flow. Allow for fuel, maintenance, wages and other commitments; do not rely only on jobs you hope to win.

Can I ask about financing a used genset?
Yes. Submit the quotation, photos, machine details and business use for assessment. Suitability depends on the asset, seller information, ownership documents and applicant review; approval is not guaranteed.
What if my bank application was not approved?
You can ask Ing Heng to review the purchase. A previous bank decision does not mean every bank rejects used gensets, and it does not guarantee approval here.
Is a standby genset suitable for everyday site use?
Do not decide from the kVA number alone. Ask the supplier or a qualified technician to check the intended hours, loads and manufacturer rating. Standby and regular-use ratings serve different operating needs.
Do you sell gensets or arrange an inspection?
No. This is a financing service page. Choose your own seller and arrange any technical inspection separately before making a purchase commitment.
What are the rate, deposit and repayment period?
Ask for the terms for your particular purchase. Review the interest, fees, required upfront payment, repayment period and total payable in a written offer. This page does not promise a fixed rate, zero deposit or a particular approval time.
